Chamber Choir

*see information about Spring 2021 below

The Missouri S&T Chamber Choir is an auditioned, 24 to 28 member SATB ensemble.  Auditions, held during the first class period of each semester, consist of vocalizing to check range, sightreading, and either a solo of the singer’s choice or the melody of the Star Spangled Banner.  This ensemble performs works encompassing all genres, but focuses more on acappella pieces.

*This will be a blended course with online component for the Spring 2021 semester. No auditions are required, but you must have a computer, internet, and the ability to record yourself singing.

Open to any student, faculty, or staff member, University Choir is a non-auditioned mixed ensemble.  If you’ve never sung in choir before or you want to brush up your singing skills, this ensemble is ideal.  Rehearsal time is spent not only on learning several concert pieces, but also on how to sing, how to read music, and to become a better singer and musician.
