We have a limited number of instruments available for students to use free of charge during the academic year. You don't have to be in an S&T ensemble to use a school instrument, but first priority will go to students in faculty-led ensembles, then those in student-led ensembles and lastly students needing to use an instrument for other usage.

All university-owned instruments are stored in either the Instrument Storage Room, or in lockers located throughout Castleman Hall. When you’re issued an instrument, you must keep it stored in its original space when it’s not in use.
The university will ensure to the best of its ability to keep school instruments in proper working order before it’s checked out. Students will be responsible for the daily upkeep of any instrument they are issued which includes keeping valves and keys in proper working order.
Students are responsible for providing their own oil, grease, reeds, shoulder rests, rock stops, or other accessories. Reed and brass players are REQUIRED to provide their own mouthpiece when using a university-owned instrument.
